There's new research on ways to prevent hip dysplasia. Did you know that there are other factors related to good hips rather than just heritage? Yes, studies show that the footing puppies have when they are moving up to the mother during nursing reflects on their adult hips. As well, growing too fast during the first year can contribute to not enough fluids in the joints. To help these two factors: #1- Buy a puppy from us! We make extra accommodations for good footing during those first weeks of nursing. #2- Don't free-feed your puppy in his/her first year. Control their calorie intake so that they do not grow too rapidly.
