F1 Goldendoodles shed very little if your Breeder does health testing. There are some poodles that carry a hidden shedding gene even if they don’t shed, and will pass it onto the mini Goldendoodle offspring. That’s why you may hear someone say their Goldendoodle sheds a lot.
F1b Goldendoodles typically do not shed at all, especially if the parent poodles were health tested.
Multigenerational mini Goldendoodles have the most shedding potential. Breeders should know and test genetics before breeding multigens.
