A Note about Size

Since a Goldendoodle is a mixed breed dog, they often grow bigger than both parents (hybrid vigor). A medium Goldendoodle is about 17′′ to 21′′ tall from shoulder to paw and weighs about 50 pounds according to the Goldendoodle Association of America. A standard Goldendoodle is over 21′′ tall from shoulder to paw and weighs 50 or more pounds as a comparison.
